1. Who runs this site
The full identification details —trading name, tax ID, registered address, country, phone and email— are at the top of this page. It is the same club that organises Travesía a Nado Batalla de Rande and the one that charges for entries.
Any question about this site, about the event or about a charge can be sent to info@batalladerande.com.
2. What this site is for
This application exists to manage taking part in Travesía a Nado Batalla de Rande. Everything an entrant needs is here:
- Sending the application and checking its status.
- Paying the entry fee and downloading the receipt.
- Sending the required documents and signing the liability waiver.
- Answering the medical questionnaire.
- Adding the companions who will board the boats and paying for their places.
- Withdrawing and following how it is resolved.
No physical product is sold and nothing is shipped to an address. What is being bought is a place in a sporting event held on a specific date, and the services that go with it. The terms of that purchase are in the Terms and conditions.
3. How access works
The application form is public while the deadline is open. The rest of the application is private: each entrant reaches their locker through a personal link sent by email, and is also asked for their ID document to open it.
The link is personal and must not be passed on. If you receive one by mistake, please tell us at info@batalladerande.com instead of using it.
4. Proper use
By using this application you undertake to give truthful information and not to try to reach other people’s data, disrupt the service or impersonate anyone. The details we ask for are not paperwork: the name and ID of every person boarding are sent to the authorities for access permits to protected natural areas, and to the ferry operator and the insurer.
The club may close the access of anyone who breaks this, without prejudice to what the event Rules and these conditions say about taking part.
5. Intellectual property
The event name, its logo, its texts and its images belong to the club or to whoever licensed them to it. You may read them, download what is yours and print it; you may not reuse them commercially without written permission.
6. Liability
The club takes reasonable steps to keep the application working and its contents correct, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability: it depends on third-party services and on the network.
If an outage stops you doing something in time —paying, sending a document, adding a companion— write to info@batalladerande.com: nobody is going to be left out because of a failure that is not theirs.
The risks of taking part are not covered here: they are in the Rules and in the assumption-of-risk document every entrant signs before swimming.
7. Links to other sites
Some pages link to third-party sites, such as the club’s website or the payment provider. The club is not responsible for their content, which is governed by their own terms.
8. Data protection
How personal data is handled, what for, for how long, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights is in the Privacy policy, linked at the foot of this page.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute the parties submit to the courts that apply under the law, without prejudice to the rights consumer legislation grants to consumers.
